Higher education is one of the primary categories in which The King’s Daughters and Sons Foundation of Kentucky, Inc. seeks to provide charitable services to others through the provision of grants to eligible non-profit organizations.  The most recent event in pursuance of this goal is the establishment of The King’s Daughters and Sons Foundation of Kentucky Scholarship Endowment with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Foundation, Inc.  The purpose of the fund is to assist with the provision of scholarships to second year student(s) enrolled in a program that results in a credential, i.e. certificate, diploma, or degree that contributes to workforce development in high need areas and/or transfer of student to a baccalaureate degree program in Kentucky resulting in the same.

TKDSF has also established The King’s Daughters and Sons Foundation of Kentucky, Inc. Nursing Endowed Scholarship with Berea College.  The purpose of the endowed fund is to provide scholarships to residents of Kentucky who are graduates of Kentucky high schools to assist with the attainment of a registered nursing degree.
